AquaSchool
Choice School is initiating a curriculum program for a class of Upper Elementary students which will involve a 6-week in-depth study of Burns Bog. The approach is a totally integrated study involving skills and concepts from the major subject areas. It culminates in an intense 1-week study at the Vancouver Aquarium.
Choice Challenge
Choice Challenge classes are 1 hour elective classes where students are given the opportunity to explore a diverse range of subjects. Depending on the subject, classes may be open to students of all ages, only primary students, or only intermediate students.
Major Expertise classes are offered twice per week for 5 months. Examples of these classes are World Geography, Drama, Medieval Illumination, and Yearbook.
Minor Expertise classes are offered once per week and run for one 3-month term. Examples this term are Student Council, Book Arts, Science Concoctions and Spelling.
