Please Note:
Our Tuition Fees are dependent upon Choice School receiving the per student operating grant from the Province of B.C. Should this operating grant not be received, we would be required to increase our fees to cover the amount of the grant non-payment shortfall.
The Provincial Grant is dependent upon parents and children being permanent residents of B.C. and either Canadian Citizens, landed immigrants, or otherwise lawfully admitted to Canada. Entrants that do not meet the above criteria must pay the Tuition Fee plus the additional B.C. Grant shortfall.
Tuition Fees charged at Choice School include the following:
- Age-based CAT (Canadian Achievement Tests) upon commencement of our program and at year end.
- A personalized IEP for your child.
- All textbooks required for various levels of subject matter.
OTHER EXPENSES
- Not included in the Tuition Fees is a $200.00 application fee, which is part of the admissions process.
- There is an additional $1,000.00 one-time contribution per family for the Choice School Capital Development Fund. This fund has been set up to enable Choice School to continue to meet ongoing and future capital development costs.
- There will be surcharges from time to time for field trips, extra art supplies, etc
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Your acceptance of enrolment at Choice School is for the full school year. Installment or monthly payment plans are offered as an aid to facilitate tuition payment only. Payments by installments or by month do not constitute a fractional contract or obligation.
- A $200 application fee is strictly non-refundable. This fee is to help cover the costs of the application process.
- The initial deposit of $1,500.00 is included in the tuition fee and is strictly non-refundable. For later applicants, the deposit is refundable until an actual operational school day visit is completed. Upon formal agreement to enrol the child, the deposit then becomes non-refundable.
- In order to confirm student enrolment, the application fee of $200 and the initial deposit of $1,500.00 must be made at the time of application; otherwise student enrollment cannot proceed.
- If the installment or monthly payment plan is utilized, post-dated cheques must be presented at the time of enrolment with the final cheque post-dated February 1, 2009 or March 1, 2009 respectively.
- Sibling Discount: A $500.00 per child discount will be extended to families with two or more children attending Choice School.
- Withdrawal Policy: As Choice School teacher contracts, as well as ongoing operating and capital expenses, are entirely dependent upon the full 10-month enrolment, please be advised that a 30-day written notice is required for student withdrawal. A withdrawal fee of $2,000.00 will be assessed to your account. Withdrawal fees include student dismissal from the program.
